An Artist has two hearts
one similar to you and I
but there's a second
that beats rampantly
wildly, beastlike
the later the night
the harder it beats
creativity flows
like a volcano's peak
and you can't turn it off
once it's turned on
the artist can only hope
to sooth this savage unrest
for little awhile
before it starts again
